He pined. They tried to cheer him up, but Pippin would have none of it. He didn't eat, slept restlessly, wandered about with a silly moon-eyed look on his face. They took turns pleading with him, explaining his foolishness very carefully. But Pippin would have none of it. He was a lovesick tween, and that was that. Eventually, they just shook their heads and watched as Pippin declared he would 'proclaim his feelings, once and for all!' and rushed outside. Outside on a bench, Faramir blinked in confusion as a blur of hobbit rushed up and kissed him soundly on the lips. |
