It felt like spying. Pippin consoled himself with the fact that it wasn’t, not really. It’s just…following. Besides, Boromir had looked troubled and in this place, even under the protection of Galadriel, who knew what could happen? Boromir was speaking passionately about his city to Aragorn. Pippin could hear the love in his voice. He wasn’t really surprised when Aragorn kissed Boromir, not after a speech like that. When it was clear that neither man had any intention of simply kissing, Pippin decided it was time to turn a blind eye, with knowledge in his heart. Spying had its rewards.
